Dr. Brian Yee is trained provider of the
SHIFT Concussion Management Program.
This program offers accessible, individualized and effective concussion management strategies to individuals of all ages suffering from concussion and mild traumatic brain injury.
Concussion is a brain injury and is defined as a complex pathophysiological process affecting the brain, induced by biomechanical forces (Consensus Statement on Concussion in Sport: The 4th International Conference on Concussion in Sport, Zurich, November 2012)
If your symptoms persist past the 2 week mark, it’s important to seek out medical treatment from a Practitioner with special interest and experience in concussion. Although the majority of concussions resolve in 7-14 days, 15-20% of concussions take more than a month to recover. These cases can benefit from treatment and management from the specific dysfunction causing the prolonged recovery.
Dr. Yee has received his level 1 provider training from Shift Concussion and utilizes the Shift Concussion Management Program. Dr. Yee will work with your physician in treatment and management of your concussion.
